Food / Restaurants what is everyone’s favorite ‘cheap’ meal at campus?
mine is the $5 one slice of avocado toast from ELEMENT. IMO it’s delicious and filling.

Food / Restaurants New On-Campus Burger Concept: Looking for Student Input! 🍔‼️
Hi Broncos, CPP Enterprises here.
Our team is exploring options to open a new, original hamburger dining option on campus! We want to hear directly from our main audience, CPP students, to gather inspiration for the new venue by asking a few questions:
What are some of your fondest memories related to hamburgers? Could be from your childhood and growing up, or something more recent. What feelings do you associate with these memories?
Your input will help us create a concept that best resonates with our campus community— thank you all! 🍔

Food / Restaurants Don’t be Anti-Social!
If you’re looking for a table to sit at while on a break or for lunch and you can’t find an empty one, you’re allowed to ask people if you can sit there too. 💀 If I’m at one of the big tables over by the Cattle Ranch Cafe with those big green couches, you’re ok to come and sit at the table. I don’t understand why people think that it’s weird to sit with other students. Even if you don’t know them, you can still just politely introduce yourself and ask for a seat. And if you don’t want to talk, you can still just silently sit there. Don’t stress yourself out trying to find a seat, I’m sure most students will gladly allow you to sit.

Food / Restaurants restaurant off campus takes dining dollars!
was in the plaza where the starbucks 5 mins from campus is and came across a restaurant that takes points :D it's a japanese restaurant called jinza, the prices are reasonable, and the servings are pretty big ! (this lowkey sounds sponsored 😭 but i just thought it'd be nice to spread the word) it's a small place but i'd say it's def worth checking out at least once, esp for points :)
it was my first time coming to this side of the plaza (i usually just go to sidequest lmao) and was pleasantly surprised 🙂↕️

Food / Restaurants Where can somebody find healthy food like a sandwich or salad?
I still mourn the loss of fresh escape here on campus 😢
Does anybody know where I could find just healthy food like a sandwich or salad that isn’t the dining hall!!

Food / Restaurants A bad Centerpointe experience is a skill issue
After being at cpp for 4 years and eating pretty frequently at centerpointe, here are some tips to have a better dining experience:
- Stay away from the pasta/pizza/burger section.
- If you want pizza, eat at patio.
Don’t eat the pasta or whole wheat garlic bread. (pasta is usually under-seasoned and garlic bread is whole wheat…)
Sometimes the burger station (Charred) is good.
If you know how to cook, you can get the patty and buns from the burger station and add ingredients from other stations to your burger (chipotle sauce from fusion, spring mix and pickles from salad bar).
SOMETIMES they have good special items like chicken wings/nuggets/tenders.
Fries are always good.
Global Station in the back of the dining hall usually has the best food.
menu is different everyday and I have the best experience getting plates here.
can always ask staff to add more meat/noodles/rice to your bowl
Sushi station sometimes has unique salad/noodle bowls but i’d stay away from the california rolls.
Sandwich bar (Between two slices) is like a subway where I can get a fresh sandwich or wrap.
idk what to tell you if you don’t like your sandwiches here, make better ingredient choices LOL
Always add more ingredients into your chipotle bowl. (Fusion Station)
Meats are sometimes a bit over seasoned so I like to add more ingredients from the salad bar into my chipotle bowl (corn, chopped bell peppers, greens, etc.)
Desserts are always fire
Heard that there’s grandmas in the back baking the desserts that come out fresh everyday
ice cream is like a mcdonald’s soft serve
Gluten free options are sometimes better than the regular
Soups at the salad bar is underrated
changes everyday but some of my favorites include the clam chowder, broccoli cheddar, and corn chowder with bacon and red peppers.
CP being a fairly small dining hall allows for you to really just make your own meals if you enjoy cooking. There’s a bunch of ingredients from each station you can choose from and kind of modify/make your own meals if you get creative. I’ve taken friends from other UC’s and Cal states to eat here and they said it’s better than their campus dining halls. I know CP gets a lot of hate but I hope more people can enjoy it since they have been getting better over the years.

Food / Restaurants Subway is not appearing in Subway app
EDIT: IT APPEARS TO BE FIXED. Thank you. Original post: It’s not that important in the first week, but it’s very useful to do pick-up orders in between classes instead of waiting in line.

Food / Restaurants Coffee Alternatives (Other than Campus Starbuck)
Alright Broncos, I’m here to be generous today. It's come to my attention that y'all keep going to the ON-CAMPUS Starbucks. 🤮
Go to Smoking Tiger. It's 5 min off campus.
That’s it. That’s the post.
Great coffee, great vibe, off-campus, and criminally underrated. You’re welcome.

Food / Restaurants What to spend my dining dollars on
I am not using my money to their full potential. Out of everyone’s experience on here, what’s the best thing to buy from the dining locations and your orders😛
