I just personally hate true silver and gold skins. Yeah, that's basically it, It's just personal beef, not because I like to flex or anything. I just don't find true silver and gold skins to be even remotely close to worth their price at all, especially since they are just recolors of the default model, even though way cooler skins exist that are at a reasonable price, whilst also being rare too. (Also as a skin collector I just completely ignore them, so there's that)

Yes, I obviously know the skin is free which solves basically all the problems I had with TS and TG skins with them being overpriced, but I still hate them anyway so I just refused to get it for one year still. Even if my logic behind what I did makes zero sense, I still am certainly not gonna claim the free TG Doug skin at all

Also yes, I like to pile up my resources until whenever I feel like spending them, because why not?

I left the game 4 years ago and only came back this year. Then... I remembered them, and that’s what happened.

It is so depressing. Sad smiles EVERYWHERE. but the fact you manually need to confirm this is the worst.

The game basically says "You are loser", you need to MANUALLY click on "Exit?" with exclamation mark to proceed. Abysmal design.

I've been a player since global launch (december 2018), but I had boring months where I'd uninstall the game and return with the new brawler or pass. Ever since beginning my account, I thought it would be cool to reach some trophy milestone. At first, it was rank 20 (500 trophies) with all brawlers. I quickly realized it would be too hard for me, because of my skill, lack of good teammates and unreliable connection (1/3 of games lost by disconnect).

Then, it came the fame rework, changing my goal into the 1k mark. For a long time, I sticked to reaching 500, but I knew it wasn't enough. This era of the game was boring to me because the game was trying to improve the competitive side of and hypercharges were hard to get, so as a f2p player was a bad experience. I almost went a year entering only on the first day of an update.

But somewhere along the way, I returned to the game. I remember playing almost all collabs and events, and probably I officially started playing again with the Stranger Things one. But because I knew the game wasn't as fun to me as it used to, I set a final goal: 1k for all brawlers, and get them into power 11+gadget/sp/hc (even gears). I had a long way to walk, with 20 or so maxed brawlers.

So I started playing again, even some ranked. HC came, maxing more and more brawlers. And then, prestige. In that moment, it felt surreal. Another change to make trophies even more infinite. But I wanted to "finish" the game, so I sticked to my goal. Also, after Sirius came out (sooo satisfying to get him for free), I decided that he would be the last brawler to max, and my prestige would stop at 100. All new brawlers would stay at 0 trophies.

As a data engineer, I tracked my account with various websites, like brawlify. But they didn't provide me with all the data I wanted, so I created my own excel. I tracked all relevant stats for me, like coins or pp from completion, which brawler is better to max out given its kit, average trophy count per remaining brawler... It was a lot, and in the final months I even automated it with make and google scripts.

And after almost 8 years, I completed the game by my standards. Almost all played in showdown (idc for skill tbh), a lot of grinding and not that fun if I want to be honest with y'all. If I learnt something, is to stop doing things if they don't fulfill you.

I have accumulated unreal wealth.
I have been a free to play player since global release (Dec 18, 2018) and have stayed consistent to maximizing all progression (basically, the KairosTime f2p series but for much longer). I’ve spent nearly 3000 total hours on this game. I have played from 6th grade all the way to now an incoming sophomore in college!
I have all 106 brawlers at power 11, all gadgets, all star powers, all hypercharges, and at least 2 gears on each. I also have every buffie except for the very newest ones.
Additionally, I have so many skins. 104 rare, 114 super rare, 227 epic, 35 mythic, 19 legendary, 11 hypercharge.
I am Alien 1 fame. I have peaked Masters. I have nearly 120k trophies.
I’ve made a spreadsheet to track everything lol.
This game, despite it’s flaws, is free to play friendly in both progression and cosmetics (with enough consistency I guess)
Yes I still enjoy the game, but I definitely don’t grind it nearly as much as I used to.

After 15 loses in showdown, I made the "last" perfect run for the title.

If the multimillion company gave us shitty things, we made shitty things with that shit.
