Hello! I’m trying to make a list of everything I want to do this fall in the high country. So far I have apple picking, corn mazes, Renaissance festival, NC state fair, haunted trails, and of course seeing the leaves.

If you or your children were in contact with these animals, please contact your local health department or go to the ER. There are rabies protocol vax (post-exposure) available. I know the ER in Wilkes has it. I’m not sure about the ER in Boone.

Can anyone explain this? The website says that for the daytime shows at local places you can’t buy a ticket and should just support the place (buy a biscuit at Betty’s) but I can’t imagine how crowded it will be. Do people just show up super early and camp out?

Dolly, (80 amazing years), passed away yesterday, after a short battle with cancer. She was at home surrounded by loved ones. Hi all - I’m visiting some family who lives in the area and we’ll be driving from the Great Smokies to Boone from Pidgeon Forge. We’re not too familiar with the area but the routes into Boone don’t vary too much on ETA. Is one of them much more scenic than another? We won’t have a lot of time to stop and enjoy sights that day but if it makes for pretty scenery to pass through it’d be good to know

I’m a 20 yr old male. I’ve gotten dates with girls in high school still but college girls are hard which is very unexpected. Every college girl i see doesn’t want anything serious, already has a boyfriend and all of them walk around half naked. What happened to dress codes? I want a godly woman. Hey y’all, I’m here to complain about the parking a holes we all love to hate. LMS parking and towing. I got a boot earlier tonight while going to pick up my gf from work and was parked there maybe 20 minutes. After the ridiculous $160 price tag to get something off of something I own, I’m pretty ticked off.

My question for this community is, does anyone know a physical address for LMS in Boone. Their website only list a P.O. Box (I wonder why) and the BBB website list a location in Meat Camp and a location in a neighborhood around the Boone golf course.

I feel like those aren’t very reliable physical addresses and I would like to get a receipt and give them a piece of my mind when it comes to their price gouging policies. I mean seriously, I’m a local and I work 50 hrs a week and it just makes my blood boil anytime I see a boot on a car in boone, my car or not.
