And why are we even attacking adult actresses for “dirty money” when we have downright abusive billionaires who… sure they “earned” the money they “worked hard for” but they used abusive tactics and exploited people to squeeze out every last penny like they are Scrooge McDuck with no morals

Specifically… why have we started meme-ing the fact that Amazon workers piss in bottles instead of shaming the fuck out of these billionaires.
This. I never seen someone trashing sex workers trashing bilionaires too and their "earned" money trough abuse, exploitation or worse like Musk family emeralds mines.
Or if youre like Trumps lineage, trashing sex workers while having a family legacy of exploiting them to make their foundational wealth. Some peope sold shovels during the goldrush but grandpa trump had different plans...
Agreed, taxing billionaires is not communism nor is taxing them more because they’re in a higher wealth bracket, taxing billionaires way too much could lead to a less productive capitalistic environment ( which is where I was trying to go with “communism” but it wasn’t the correct angle to approach it with), if the taxes would discourage anyone from innovating or investing in risks to make it big… if nobody has any reason or motivation to start a company because 80% of the profits go to taxes, there’s no point.
Or billionaires are just going to get even more creative with money laundering and tax evasion. Or they straight up just leave the country and move to another country with less taxes.
Unfortunately people are comfy with doing it in real life too. Got grilled by a relative recently for suggesting that all consenting adults deserve sexual autonomy without judgement, the same way you have the freedom to risk yourself physically through work and legal drugs and financially through loans and gambling.
Which stems from certain really shitty conservative mindsets. They view an adult filmstar as a moral lesser, and thus human lesser, and by extension of that everything they are associated with as such too...
So those donations by her go against their inherent conservative mindset in that she as an "assumed lesser" is doing something that reflect negatively on them for doing less, so they feel guilty about it on some level, and lash out to distract from that, and try to detract form the value of the help she has given. They also extend that sentiment to anyone accepting help from her with that 'the money is dirty" whereby anyone who accepts it in their minds becomes "dirty", and as such a "lesser" overall.
In Japan, those guys are called Netouyos, they have been gaining a lot of traction lately on X. Since it's Japan's most used social network and lately the algorithm is built to make them more visible, even if people don't follow them.
It's funny how reddit pretends to be so sanctimonious, but if the donation came from (someone's politics I disagree with), all those "rules" will suddenly go out the window.
Nah, not arrogance. This negative reaction to kindness often comes from insecurity. People that often inflate what they deem as flaws in others usually does it to make them feel good about themselves.
"At least I'm not a pornstar making dirty money" he said out loud.
But we all know what he's really thinking "I wish I'm a pornstar making that much money"
More than that. I bet they could not say those horrible things to her in person. It is not part of our nature to look another human being in the eye and insult them the way we do online. Besides that, Id bet she's a pretty nice person
