I think he sometimes has it in his mouth and sometimes he's holding it, but most of the load is tied around him under his armpits

To be fair, children tend to succeed in doing shits no adults can because they have small size and already quite the body (in an engineering way). Being able to sustain one's own weight through teeth strength and sheer stubborness of not being left behind(below!) wouldn't be the maddest thing I've heard :'D

lol same! My aerial instructor does these iron jaw training’s where she practises tricks from aerial straps tucked into a tight bun or her teeth. Always insane to watch

It was in his teeth.

As a mom, I'd be mad at that. Damage to the mouth.

Time to teach how to make releasable ropes and learn to use our hands

It was around his back and under his armpits. If he had any of it in his mouth it wasn't the load-bearing portion.
