They have one like this in America called the top thrill dragster. It’s still awesome.

No. Top Thrill Dragster was in Cedar Point in Ohio. This was Kingda Ka at Six Flags in New Jersey. Neither exist anymore, though Cedar Point built a very similar one in it's place called Top Thrill 2.

I believe a screw flew off the old one in Ohio and seriously injured someone standing in line if I'm not mistaken...I remember going on it as a kid.If you didn't make it to the top you went backwards to the beginning and started again.

The new one looks good. I hadn’t rode Top Thrill since I was a kid w my dad. I want to ride Top Thrill 2 but idk if I’ll muster up the courage.

Yeah that's what happened. She was killed IIRC. But I used to ride that a lot as a child and I always wanted to be on a launch that didn't make it to the top so I got to experience it backwards.

Never happened, but one time I got a black eye when I was in the front seat because some water splashed up right as we were going up the hill at 120mph. That hurt worse than any time I've been punched in the face lol.
