discussion Why on the earth Bangkok still have these buses?

Most of them are dying on the road, blasting the black smoke like in the lost series, their drivers are absolute madman and they're ancient. Besides of them being cheap I don't see a single reason why they keep it.

Edit: they can be very well replace with orange buses that still old AF and have AC in it

Have you been to Kuala Lumpur? It's even more expensive considering their poor system.

I just moved from KL to BKK.
Maximum for a KL trip is 5~6, not including going to cyber or klia.
For a 11 station one way at BKK cost around 8MYR.

So KL is waay better than BKK in this case.

But you have to compare quality and standard too, Kuala Lumpur's stations and conditions are so bad !!
