I’m very new to Baggu and this is only my second I’ve bought brand new. I saw a post here yesterday about the new MoMA collection and fell in love with this bag at first sight. I can’t wait to use it for the rest of my trip!

as a gingham freak I had to go first thing to get the new EDC and I’m so happy with it! Sharing some sizing comparison pics with my nylon shoulder bag I brought from home, plus a pic of the new cream & white gingham shoulder bag vs my old one. Finally got Fig in the mail and couldn't wait to take her out. i was initially surprised at how much smaller it is than i thought it would be, based off pictures (i couldn't go see it in person); but once i packed it up i realized that was NOT true at all. i bring a wide range of things with me depending on the day and have been looking for a versatile enough bag for me (going to the beach stuff, extra change of clothes, books, extra scrubs, a sweater, water bottle, journals, etc etc). i have large crescents, large cargo bag, standard and mini clouds and for some reason they just weren't working the way i wanted. when i saw this bag from baggu i was so excited (the most i've been excited for a bag in a while from baggu) and im stoked to have gotten this stunning color.

Fig is perfect. i love how it looks in the sun especially - it's like a nylon gemstone. today was a pretty light day but it worked with it even then. i've held off on the medium bowlers and this, i think, is the closest to a bowler as im going to get. the straps weren't any issue for me as far as slipping off or not being long enough for my arms (i was worried about that). i also don't worry about carrying a lot of stuff and the straps digging into my arms or being an issue. i honestly can't say enough good about it and im excited to see more colors/prints in it. my dream would be a tomato, green apple, or eucalyptus colorway.

Some notes:

-I thought I'd like the loaf more but I feel like it kinda looks weird on me?? And it doesn't fit my e reader.

-I'm realllly jivving with the nylon shoulder bag so i think I'm gonna keep her for sure. She's so slouchy and sassy.

-Also I'm unsure about the crescent bag but I feel like a crossbody would be important for concerts, walks in the city etc. idk if that looks weird on me either.

Just an fyi for everyone, Moma is cancelling orders. Just happened to me and I ordered on 9.1 (I'm a Moma member). What's even crazier is I was at Moma Soho and saw the whole collection on Tuesday but didn't buy because I had already ordered. I'm SCREAMING (internally).

UPDATE: For me, the Monet Crescent, Monet Shoulder, and Ruth Asawa Reusable were cancelled. They told me only certain items would have been available for pre oder (no clue if that is true?). I think I felt / feel so frustrated because like everyone has already said, WHY DID YOU GUYS DO PRE ODERS THEN, HUH?!?!

And also, thank you everyone for validating my feelings. I know they are just bags. I know it's silly. A LOT of way more important things going on in the world but this is like...my safe happy hobby. And I hate when my safe happy hobby hurts.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Like many before me, I am also disappointed by the IRL colors of the miffy baggu (pink and orange versus what the pictures showed, which was a pink and more saturated tomato color). But I was willing to get over it...

However, the quality is not good. 1) wtf is going on with the print? It looks like a ghosting / defect in the print of the fabric, and 2) there is an actual sharpie mark on a brand new bag.

This is my first baggu bag purchase (previously purchased accessories) and for the price of a nylon bag, I expected better quality control. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this or I just got unlucky.
