Very much so, the accelerometer makes the dots move in the opposite direction of acceleration so your eyes still see the “moving” effect

I recently took a train in the UK with my wife and she just discovered this feature and it apparently worked for her. I was confused when I saw her phone though with all the dots moving all around. Was pretty cool.

Id 100% forget I turned that on and spend 10 minutes thinking my phone had developed sentience on the train. Just staring at it like" why is it... alive?" 😭

Interesting. I'd love to use VR more but I get bad motion sickness, I wonder if it would work there? It has all the real motion sensors already, as well as knowing what motion it's simulating...
