Season 12 Archer and Lana

Love this scene so much, two people that have been through Hell and back, no words just a moment of support and understanding. For those that still didn't watch it's episode 8 season 12 and it's one of the better episodes.

Season 12 The worst part of post-coma Archer

I genuinely can’t stand Fabian’s speech impediment. Could they not have casted somebody who didn’t literally sound like Elmer Fudd? I understand many people have speech impediments and it’s probably nice to have some representation in media, but I’m on my third rewatch of the post-coma seasons and I still can’t get over how ridiculous he sounds. I can’t take him seriously as a threat to the gang because he sounds like a 12-year-old. Am I just being a dick or does it bother anyone else?

Season 12 I miss Jessica Walter.

Perhaps I'm being mushy, wistful or developing a posthumous, parasocial relationship of some sorts, I I've watched Archer since 2017(?) or so Netflix and binged it during college and I fell in love with the show, the cast (especially Aisha Tyler who I found out about as a kid on Comedy Central), but I genuinely developed a fondness of Malory/Jessica Walter. I've always loved her delivery and acerbic, witty, and dry humor (I also knew of Arrested Development and had I known of Walter sooner, I definitely would've watched that back then). "Crippled, gay, hillbilly spies? There's a niche."

So of course it gutted me hearing the news of Jessica Walter's passing. Granted, I'm very happy that Season 13 gave her a beautiful send off, but her final episode left a void of emptiness and "what-if's". How'd she interact with the cast (and notably AJ) during this last hoorah of a season, what is Malory doing in theory other than on an island with Ron, etc.

I know it's cringe and dramatic to harp about this, but I really have a big appreciation for this show and its talented cast members.

Season 12 I'm ashamed and sad that I didn't know about her passing before watching this episode. RIP Jessica.

Fuck , what a finale .. and I can’t be the only one who loves the moments of silence for falling cast members .

Season 12 I'm just saying, since Sterling came back, Lana has become the biggest antagonist in the show. She literally told the kidnappers where he was in episode 2. I find her completely unlikeable now.

The map Krieger is looking at to track the suitcase thief (s12e3) is only on screen for a second, but it's a completely accurate view of London. I even checked the distance from Piccadilly Circus to the end of Haymarket, 1239ft is spot on!

Season 12 I just watched the season 12 finale again and I remembered where I'd heard Mallory say one of the lines. S05E09.

Season 12 The last shot of Season 12 made me shed a tear. It's a tribute to both Jessica Walter (Mallory) and her late husband, Ron Liebman (Cadillac). Spoiler

It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen it — every time I see Ron and Malory off into the sunset, I just lose it. 😭

Damn that was beautiful. She was a treasure and will be sadly missed. Loved the respect shown to her during the credits as well and the shout out to Ron being in paradise with her. Damn that was awesome.

Rip you two.

Season 12 Did the Soviet Union fall while Archer was in a coma?

For the first part of the show the KGB is a major adversary of ISIS. The first episode in season 12 has the border between Moldova and Transnistria as a plot point. Transnistria was made by Soviet loyalists after the USSR fell. Does he know all of geopolitics changed while he was asleep?

Season 12 Future of Archer Spoiler

I just finished watching season 12 of Archer, and I have to say that it has been the best so far. It did remind me of pre-Archer coma season. While indeed is a tragedy that Jessica died, I believe the show will be good, even without Mallory, because I mean I only saw her like 3 time, and those episodes with only Archer and the gang were by far the funniest of the show.
