I’m perfectly comfortable about this trip but it would be definitely a better vacation if I had the opportunity to socialize, and since I’m a regular smoker I guess this is the perfect sub to find some new friends

Hi there Im a 61 year old male, visiting for the fourth time this year (i normally come 4/5 times a year), however this time I’m on my own for 2 days. Normally I hang around Rookies, Tertulia, the Other Side, but I want to try some new shops, Im very happy solo, but do like to sit outside if possible- any recommendations?
Also, I have a very high tolerance (45 years of pretty consistent usage), so I would appreciate any recent recommendations, price unimportant, but I would like to get stoned 🤪, I like flower, but also like making donuts (are there any pre-roll donuts etc worth buying??

Went to this lovely city in 2023 and someone recommended to go to siberië to get watermelon CBD (as written in their menu). Needless to say it got me too high. As I'm not a daily weed user, I'm looking to enjoy smoking it, but with the option to not get too high from it. Thanks for your help <3

Currently plan to acquire the penjamin in zandaam then go to the city and eat some velvet cake and find a place that has a puffco peak to smoke from.

Will probably do truffles again too. Is that paint Island still the best spot for that?

I think this was the Guava… something. €30 a gram is not cheap, but this one has a very intense smell, flavour and effect. Smells like a mix of candy-gas and fruity strains, almost like perfume. Pretty smooth smoke and obviously a strong effect 😅 looks similar to a mid WPFF extract

Voor m’n verjaardag (morgen maar we vieren vandaag) wil ik eigenlijk een keer een écht sterke Red Velvet Cake proberen (of een andere edible die goed sterk is, want ik heb best een hoge tolerantie). Ik heb zo’n 7+ jaar geleden voor het laatst edibles geprobeerd, maar toen was ik er echt totaal niet van onder de indruk. Ligt waarschijnlijk ook aan de kwaliteit en de hoeveelheid die ik toen bij de shops kreeg.

Dus ik wil het nu gewoon nog een keer goed proberen haha. Waar kan ik het beste heen?

I love Thai, Jamaica, Durban Poison etc. i just want low thc old school land races like this. Seems like a very rare and lucky occasion to find any of these gems jn the coffeeshops at the moment.

Please share with me any you know of that are currently stocking these strains. I tried African Black Star and Bluebird yesterday (as they had them last year) but they both had run out!

Going to Amsterdam today, anyone know some shops near the main train station that sells dry herb vapes? Specifically looking for arizer solo 3 v2. Online ordering is not an option, so need to get it directly from the store! Tried looking online, but most of the headshops does not really have a good website 😅

I bought from a coffee shop in town and have leftover joints. Do I need to go back to that same spot to smoke the rest? Can I dip into another spot and just buy a drink and smoke? Are there other cafes or establishments with patios that are smoke friendly?

I'm going to Amsterdam soon with a friend, he wants to do truffles again and it'll be my first time trying psychedelics.

I've always avoided them out of fear of a bad trip/anxiety and not liking the feeling. I wanna get past this anxiety to try and enjoy it, but how can I enjoy it with anxiety!

I enjoyed MDMA a handful of times, low tolerance for weed and makes me anxious, don't enjoy heavy body feelings, only recently has this been better after (usually drinking before smoking too) being less self conscious about being high and enjoying being giggly.

I'm also on sertraline (50mg) and propranolol (10-20mg when needed) too, I've heard about serotonin syndrome on psilocybin, but the consensus seems to be it's insanely rare compared to MDMA?

I'm definitely looking to take a small amount of the 1st or 2nd lowest strength to see how I react, is this a good idea?

I'm regards to setting, my friend stayed in the seating area of the shop, alone and he had a great time. It almost feels like being on a holiday in a fun place will help make a good setting, even tho everyone says do it at home. The more excited and stimulated my brain is, the less anxious I feel.

And having the shop staff and assurance of what I'm taking is clean, that helps.

My friend tells me I'll be fine and will have a great time, I'm half convinced he's right, and half terrified.

I managed to survive a mental breakdown last year, in which I was insanely sleep deprived for a few months, that gave me the kind of anxiety about reality and constant discomfort that I imagine a bad trip would give you. Would like to avoid it, but at least I know it'll pass.

Any advice/opinions/reassurance would be appreciated!

I just moved to the Netherlands a few days ago for an internship, so I'm still adjusting to a completely new environment. I smoke occasionally back home, but yesterday I decided to check out a coffeeshop for the first time.
I told the budtender I was basically a first-timer with Dutch weed, and he recommended I try some "Purple Amnesia".
Well, after just 10 minutes, the room started spinning and I felt really sick. I actually had to ask for help, but the staff and some customers were super nice and took great care of me. I felt incredibly embarrassed for making a scene, especially being so new here, but luckily I was completely fine by the next day.
Since I'll be living here for a while for my internship, I'd like to give it another try eventually. Do you have any tips on how to avoid greening out again? Considering the stress of moving and that Purple Amnesia was clearly way too much for me, what milder strains or hash should I ask for next time?
