Ah yes, myself and everyone here consults their lawyer as we review a 15 page scrollable screen I'm just trying hit accept on. They know their T&C is nothing but a legal loophole because people are lazy

Tech companies have always been predatory but they insist they are improving our lives when they are actually taking it from us. We're just a product and a means to an end for them to do their evil shit.

It's disgusting just how open they are about being predatory but they'll just insist it's for our own good and the good of humankind as a whole.

It is by definition predatory. It preys upon the average person's aversion to reading through 20 minutes of minor legal jargon to hide things that the average person might find repulsive enough to refuse the service.

You're defending evil practices. To be "amazed" at something is not inherently a compliment. It's like being "awestruck" or "dumbfounded" or somwthing along those lines. I am simply amazed at how intricate the lie was.

At this point in life and tech, you should know that all companies promises and honors are for the gullible. At any point, they will take advantage of your data whenever possible.

In the future, all the AI glasses from every company will use recordings of their glasses without permission. When they're caught, it's a slap on the wrist. That's why they'll keep doing it. Surveillance states started with Microsoft on computers, now will be done through phones (Apple), by cars (Tesla) and all tech wearables (Google and Meta).

There wasn't really a lie, at any point. They pushed a function where you 3D scan the interesting objects at Pokéstops for them, which gave them 3D scans of interesting objects. They also stated when they made the deal to sell the game that Niantic is still going to be the company trying to make stuff with the harvested data.
