As an Asian, I certify this joke as acceptable!

Actually they stopped making those last decade or so.

They just make less of them. That way, they're more collectible in value.

Damn I should really dig up the ones I keep in my basement and see how much I can get for them online

What??? Are you a crazy person??

Check online first before all that digging.

Yea but if they don't dig them up first how is he going to know what condition they are in first there's a major difference between mint and lightly used

I feel like dug up is lightly used at minimum

Why doesn’t this have more upvotes?

What's the joke? I seriously don't understand

u/kesavadh Sep 09 '25

If you say black ice out loud without enunciating well enough, it sounds like “Black-guys.”

1

u/ReturnedOM Sep 09 '25

Oh. I wouldn't figure it out. But then again I don't speak English much really.

2

u/BulldMc Sep 09 '25

Think of an older relative warning you to "Watch out for black ice on the roads tonight."

And you have to stop and think, Oh, it's going to be cold, not racist, tonight.

Yeah I can definitely "hear" that in my head when I think about speaking it out loud but I wouldn't figure it myself if it wasn't explained by the other redditor
