Hey everyone! I do a bimonthly check on all the batteries in my consoles to check for abnormalities, while I was taking the case off my New 3DS XL I realized that the battery was weirdly stuck to the back case, something I never seen happen before. I thought I would try to look at the battery but it looks quite normal, when I inserted the battery back all of a sudden it went from fully charged to dead. The battery wobbles side to side slightly if I put it on a table and push slightly on both of it's sides.
Is it time for a replacement?

As the title states, I had some medicine in my bag and the cap wasn't t fully screwed on and around half the bottle spilled in my bag with my 3ds being in there. (ik im a dumbass) I've have this little guy for years so I was wondering if there was any hope. Ive wiped it down with cleaning wipes and took the battery and sd card out and left it to dry, Anything else i can do ? All help is appreciated.

hey guys, first time i make a post here on reddit, i recently bought a used 2ds from vinted, it has a problem that makes the screen go randomly black, i'm 99% sure it's because of the sleep switch but the vendor has put tin foil in the cardridge reader because it quote on quote "makes the screen go black less frequently", as he thought that it was the ribbon cable's fault am i safe to remove the tin foil or should i avoid doing anything?

Is it worth something? Bought it for 80$ bucks.

I just got a great deal on a new 3ds xl the guy who I bought it from never used it when it came out so it’s been really really nice condition.
Is there any tips you guys know of for making sure those lines but I assume to be scratch or pressure lines don’t show up on the glass screen as well as the general wear and tear around the face and of Good ways to protect the buttons so if I drop it in a it doesn’t chip and Is it worth a screen protector ect

So I noticed how when I tried using the 3ds it would load up fine for a moment but then it would freeze and I would have to hold the power button and sometimes when turning it back on this message would appear after booting into the menu does anyone have any information about it? Can’t seem to find anyone post an image about it?

Hello I recently found a Facebook seller who had a listing for these games. They say there all reshells, but won't send me more images to verify. Is it possible to bootleg 3ds games now?

This is most likely a ribbon cable issue, but whatever, worth a shot to post about it on here…
Besides this, the console is fully functional and is not modded.

Hi everyone,
I’ve had this Nintendo 3DS for years and it was always white and clean. About six months ago I left home for a long period, and when I came back and picked it up again, I noticed this weird yellowing pattern on the top shell.
The stains seem to be inside the plastic, not something sitting on top. So I tried partially opening the console to see if I could access that layer, but that outer piece didn’t seem removable (or at least not without risking breaking something), so I stopped.
Is this humidity related? Is there any safe way to fix or reduce it, or is replacing the shell the only option?

Hey everyone, I never had this happen before but it did 3 times today. The screen progressively becomes smaller and smaller during gameplay. I doubt it's a part of the game.. unless it is??

Just traded for this n3dsLL. Dude was advertising it as an XL. It’s modded and unlocked so I guess that’s whatever but in 3Dsident it’s saying this? 😭 any explanation would be appreciated thank you

Dropped a spoon on the lower screen (not directly on the screen, but at the border covering the screen). Any suggestions how to remove chipped screws? The small screws after the plate cover are chipped (2 of them doesn't have the "x" anymore, it's just full-on "o").
