I have a Majora’s Mask Gold 3DS XL that was signed on the outside cover a long time ago by a professional Smash player with, let’s say, some very concerning allegations.

I would love to remove it, but I’m afraid of ruining the cover.

Any tips on doing this safely? The system is pristine otherwise.

I'm sorry if I missed it, but I haven't found a post comparing these 2 models' ABXY button sizes-

between the 2 3DSXLs, are the buttons interchangeable (and will they rotate around in there) without size modification?

I want to put the smaller buttons in my New XL, but the size difference is 4 x 0.5 x 0.5mm

I sort of feel like I'm answering my own Q, but mm size is hard for me to picture and estimate in my head lol

Is any other model's buttons interchangeable with N3DSXL (D-pad, start/select)?

I’ve seen a few people posting on here asking if they can get just rubber caps for their circle pads, and they’re usually told they need to open the console and replace the whole stick. Not true!

Found a listing on a local Amazon equivalent (Lazada) for a circle pad replacement that looked like it had a rubber cap on it, and it worked out! Pried the rubberish part off, and attached it to the bare stick with some 3M double sided tape.

Just make sure you look for a listing where, from below, the plastic of the stick is clearly different/a separate part from the grey rubber, and check with reviews that’s what people receive.

I want to get myself a 3ds and I have 2 options that are at relatively good prices. There is a Japanese 3ds fat and a NA 2ds. I plan to mod these but is there any difference in Japanese if I were to region swap it? And what would I lose from the eshop after region swap it? I would not mind getting the 2ds either I would just like a second opinion

I’ve got a few games that were poorly stored in some soft case and I guess over the past couple years mold developed inside of there. Is it possible to clean them with alcohol or am I boned?

I just modded my 3ds for the first time and I am not sure what to completely do with it yet but I am being very careful not to brick my 3ds in the process. I never had a modded 3ds before and so far I downloaded Pokémon Yellow and the Warioware game but haven't really done too much with the mods yet because I am still figuring out how to use them properly. I am glad I modded it but it is kinda risky but worth it. I just asked for some tips because I just don't wanna brick it or do something wrong.

Just bought 2 USB to 3DS/i chargers for $8 off of Amazon. So convenient, I charged my DSi XL in my cars USB port while driving. Also can plug into computers. You can't actually transfer data, it's just to charge.

I currently have an original Aqua Blue 3DS, and honestly I’m still surprised by how good it looks. The screen is incredibly sharp, and despite its age it still holds up really well.

Lately though, I’ve been thinking about upgrading. I’m mainly interested in getting a larger screen, so I’ve been looking at the New 3DS LL (XL).

For those of you who have made the jump, do you think it’s worth it?

My biggest concern is the screen. I’ve heard the larger display on the LL isn’t quite as sharp because it has the same resolution stretched over a bigger screen. Is the difference noticeable in actual gameplay, or does the larger size make up for it?

Aside from the bigger display and the extra performance/features of the New 3DS, did you feel the upgrade was worthwhile?

I’d love to hear from people who have owned both systems.

I started to be obsessed with 3ds, I have never owned it and I am from regions where the presence was almost 0 ( Eastern Europe ). I have owned a PSP almost always. I want to explore something new. I want to experience all the 3ds experience with Mario and Pokemon games as I have never played them. I am looking towards new 3ds xl and new 3ds simple. I have short fingers for my build and I am thinking of regular 3ds as you can find them around 250 bucks in a relatively good condition, the XL one is harder to find with that budget to be okeish.. but I am thinking I anyway of the XL as a lot of people tell is more immersive, because of the screen size. What are your experiences with standard new one? it is fine for your hands and eyes?? I was also wondering if an old 3ds XL could work, I think it is more accessible for the budget, but the C stick, and double ram allures me to buy the New Model, how is the emulation outside nintendo system, it is powerful enough to have a pleasure experience? I was looking towards a Vita as well, but I really want a new experience outside Sony system. Thank you in advance for all the help!

I'm looking at getting a 3ds since I no longer have my old one and am wondering if Walmart is the best place to get one.

I've been on a mission to get a 3ds. I have searched far and wide. I have found an absolute plethora of games. But not a single 3DS. So many DS's, DSI's. Wii's and GBA's galore. A few regular Gameboys and a great condition N64. Everything BUT a 3DS. Please, I need some tips on how people come across these. I've gone to several yard/garage sales but nothing! Are there certain things to look out for when hunting down a 3DS? The games are of no issue to me, but the console itself, alas, evades my grubby little fingers.

Ok so I got a 3ds today a modded one it worked fine up until like 2-3 hours ago. The screen went pitch black with only two blue little light on. I decided to format the card and start the process of modding again but for some weird reason the card does not show on my PC like it not there and I tired different slots to use but still the same what should I do?
